Now, you can type in iTRANS format and convert it into Hindi (or Gujarati). Other languages are to be tested yet.
Please check out: http://bhomiyo.com/xliteratetext.aspx
And select “iTRANS” scheme in the left side panel. Type or copy/paste in iTRANS format and your output will display in right side panel.
Few items from iTRANS are left as such – tilda (~) and candra o (.c) signs.
Let me know if you think something should be corrected here.
Regarding Standardisation of Roman Transliteration of Indic Script texts no standards are availbale under Unicode. Only Drafts are released by TDIL in 2002. A Tech.Paper is here at http://hariraama.blogspot.com/2007/07/standardisation-of-roman.html
If you please apply this for testing, a big help will be extended for easy testing and finalising these.
